In conjunction with the ASP Quiksilver Pro, Godfathers of the Ocean hosted a breakfast
to assist less fortunate youths from the Gold Coast community. Some of the World's
best surfers came together to host a breakfast by the ocean for disadvantage children.
There they got to meet the stars of the Quiksilver Pro, take surf lesson and enjoyed
a delicious & nutritious breakfast thanks to Sumo Salad.
It was an inspiring morning for these kids, they were stoked to spend some time
with the surf stars and it did not stop there. Before they headed off for school
they were given a gift bag to take with them, awesome surf gear from supporting
sponsors, Kustom, Electric, Quicksilver and Surfing Life Magazine.
Godfathers would like to acknowledge the team from Bond University for their support
towards this event and Lifeline Gold Coast for their continual assistance and support
for the local community. Last but not least, we thank the Pro Surfers who took the
time out of the contest to come along and participate and give these youngsters
some great surfing tips.
