A big congratulations goes out to Owen Wright mens winner of the Burleigh Breakka Pro with runner up Adam Melling and womens winner Sally Fitzgibbons who is now riding for Firewire Surfboards. The waves were fun for the entire event for both men’s & women’s competition with some high performing International surfers entering the event.
The highest placed local surfers were Thomas Woods (Burleigh) & Brent Dorrington (Coolangatta) reaching the Quarter Finals.
The week long event was a success for both competitors and organizers and brought back some awesome surfing on display at Burleigh, home of Godfathers of the Ocean Surf School.
