The ocean has an unparalleled ability to change our mood, allowing us to disconnect from our mundane routines and find inner peace. Scientific research has shown that spending time in the ocean, especially through activities like surfing, can significantly improve our social, mental, and physical well-being, boosting our self-confidence and emotional wellness.
Our Goddesses of the Ocean surf clinic programs offer a variety of sessions for women who want to connect with others, move, play, and learn both in and out of the ocean. Join us and become a true 'Goddess of the Ocean'.
Our surfing lessons take place in the beautiful setting of Burleigh Heads Beach and Tallebudgera Creek, where you can connect with the ocean in a playful and organic way.
Our experienced instructors will guide you through the fundamentals of surfing, paddling, and swimming, giving you the confidence to explore the ocean at your own pace. Whether you're looking to catch your first wave or improve your skills, our sessions offer a range of activities to suit your needs. From learning to surf and recreational surfing to ocean swimming, bodysurfing, and bodyboarding, every session is a chance to immerse yourself in the ocean and learn new skills.
Our instructors will teach you about the ocean environment, including rips, currents, and tides, and how to read the conditions to stay safe. You'll learn how to paddle and sit on a surfboard, swim in the ocean, bodysurf, and bodyboard with ease and confidence.
Our sessions are designed for women who want to connect with like-minded individuals, have fun, and embrace the fitness and health benefits that surfing can offer.

LADIES-ONLY SURF LESSONS AND OCEAN KNOWLEDGE
Ladies-only Surf Clinics
Surf lessons that offer monthly surf clinics (1 x 90-minute session per week over four weeks) or private lessons.
Surf Clinics offer small groups and a variety of levels from:
- Intro / Beginner: Haven’t surfed before or tried a few times, keen to learn new things, average fitness level, and a confident swimmer
- Intermediate: Can pop up on a board and ride in main whitewash or rental unbroken waves
- Advanced / Intermediate: Able to ride unbroken waves along the face and able to manage basic turns
- High Performance: Confident in head-high waves and able to perform maneuvers such as cutbacks

Kids From $120 | Package of 3 or 5 Lessons, ages up to 17yrs or 18yrs and over and a student, must provide student ID over 18yrs

Payments
We require pre-payments for all bookings; we do not handle cash at the beach. Payment options are Direct Transfer, or credit card. All payments are required to be finalized prior to lesson date. You are required to give 48 hours for direct transfer payments, if making a payment within 24 hours we require a bank transfer for receipt copy or credit card payment.
Cancellations/Refunds
All participants are required to give Godfathers of the Ocean 48-hour’s notice for any cancellations on scheduled Group Lessons and Private Surf Lessons. We do not refund, however, a credit voucher can be issued to use at a later date or to gift to another person. In the event we do offer a refund an adminstration fee and credit card fees will apply. We reserve the right to assess each application for refund on a case by case basis and do not garauntee you will recieve a refund.
All refunds have a $25.00 administration fee!
Rescheduled Lessons
Godfathers of the Ocean Surf School reserve the right to cancel and or reschedule surf lessons due to extreme weather and or dangerous surf conditions. In the event this occurs, we will endeavour to reschedule your lesson to another time and day that suits the participants and Godfathers of the Ocean, however in circumstances that this is not possible, we can offer a credit voucher for yourself or to gift to another person. We do not refund due to bad condtions and or rainy weather!
If you require to reschedule your lesson for any reason, an adminstration fee of $25.00 will apply.
Rainy Weather
No surf lessons are cancelled due to rainy conditions, no refunds or reschedules are available to those who do not cancel within cancellation period stated above.
Illness
We understand there are times where you may fall ill, in the event that that this happens and you are unable to attend your scheduled lesson or give notification within the cancellation periods as stipulated above, Godfathers of the Ocean unfortunately cannot offer a refund or credit.
Gift Vouchers:
There are ‘no refunds’ offered on Gift Vouchers. Gift Vouchers are to be redeemed within a 12-month period from purchase date. However, you can contact Godfathers of the Ocean and request an extension if circumstances have prevented the use of the voucher. Godfathers of the Ocean reserve the right to the final decision.

As with any physical activity, it is important that before beginning any fitness regime, you consult with your health care professional to ensure that you are mindful of your current health and any restrictions that are appropriate for you. You should immediately seek medical attention if there are any unanticipated changes to your physical condition at any time.

By making a booking confirmation and payment, you have accepted our terms and conditions.
All participants are to read and agree and sign the indemnity form prior to each lesson.
